Summer has arrived

School is out, the neighborhood pools are open...it's official - summer has arrived!  I am only working 2 days a week this summer at the hospital and plan to spend the rest of the time enjoying the sun and family fun summer adventures.  We kicked off summer vacation with a trip to my Auntie Carol's cabin in McCall and a visit with my brother Tony who just accepted a job as a respiratory therapist at St.Luke's-McCall.  It was too cold to swim in the lake, but try telling Sage that! Koen was fascinated by the fox cubs living under the bunkhouse and spent hours trying to lure them in with eggs and the highlight of our walk in the woods was a full-moon sighting ;}

 Koen is busy planning his July Spiderman birthday party and was very inspired by his friend Cooper's superhero party last weekend.  At Cooper's party everyone got their own personalized superhero cape and mask and there was an obstacle course that involved knocking down brick walls, shooting villians with waterguns, rescuing animals and other daring adventures.  Hands down the best birthday party Koen has ever been to!!

Swimming lessons for Koen start next week, Kenn and I are going to visit Adam and Abby Way in San Diego in June and I'm going to a work conference in July.  The summer is going to fly by!
